How does it work?
Each 21 blitz game is a 3-minuted timed event. You play with a single deck of cards. When the cards or the time runs out, the game is over.
There are 4 stacks on the gameboard. You play a single card at a time to one of the stacks. Your goal is to create stacks that add up to 21. Going over 21 will bust. Just like in Blackjack. Each bust earns you a strike. Three strikes and your out! The game will end if you bust three times.
How to play
When you download and open the app, you’ll get a tutorial on how to play. Here’s a quick summary in case you miss it.
- Tap any of the four columns to play a card.
- Cards added to each column make a stack.
- Your goal is to make stacks that add up to 21.
- The stack clears once you hit 21 or play 5 cards less than 21.
- If your stack goes over 21, you bust. That’s bad!
- Three busts and game over. Oh no!
- Black Jacks, the Jack of Spades, and Jack of Clubs are wild cards! Playing them will clear any stack. Use them wisely and for stacks that are hard to clear.

- Play fast and earn a time bonus for every second still on the clock when you clear all the cards.
- Play smart and don’t bust, and you’ll get a bonus.
- Play low cards that add up to eleven. All face cards and 10s will turn that stack into 21.
- If the current card adds to 21 for any stack, the count tile will glow. Make sure you play that card to that stack!
- Clear back-to-back stacks to earn streak bonus points.
