Contact

The fastest and most reliable way to reach me is on X. I’m there daily, I read replies and DMs, and most of the conversation about the site happens there in real time.

Primary contact method

@HabitsProf on X

Reply, quote, or DM. I post regularly on personal finance, FIRE, AI’s effect on careers, and the longer questions about money and meaning. Public conversation is welcome and often the most useful for everyone reading along.

What’s the best way to use this

If you have a question about something on the site, a counterpoint, a tool you think I should review, or a topic you’d like covered, drop a reply or DM on X and I’ll see it. Genuine reader questions are some of my favorite source material for new posts. The conversation is part of how the site gets better.

For partnership inquiries, press, or formal business matters, an X DM is still the right starting point. I’ll move us to a more appropriate channel from there if needed.

Worth knowing

I don’t offer personalized financial advice and can’t respond to individual planning questions. Not for liability reasons, but because doing it well requires context I don’t have. The site is structured to help people think through these questions for themselves, which is the only honest way to do it from here.
